Crazy Week!

We started last week out with complete demolition of the restaurant. I really wanted to be there and the weather was great (the first day), so Malakai and I went. He did extremely well. The first picture is of him chewing on G. Grandpa's finger. It was hilarious!

This is day two of demolition. It was a lot colder than the day before. The wind was coming right off the lake and since the building wasn't there, we could really feel it! Eric was there with us and we were able to wrap Malakai up. He was a real trooper!
This is just a picture from later that day. He was having so much fun in his jumperoo.
Thursday, I really wanted to pack just one more thing into my crazy schedule and take Malakai to see the Easter Bunny. This is him in his Easter outfit.
After being able to relax a little on Saturday. Sunday came! Malakai's first Easter was so much fun. We went to church in the morning. He did super great. He even tried to grab the pages of G. Grandpa's Bible and put them in his mouth! This picture is of later that day at Kevin and Jodi's house. He was eating his peaches.
After he got done eating, he just did this while we were putting his clothes back on. It is one of my favorite pictures! After getting dressed, we went outside to play with water balloons. We tried to get Malakai to hang on to one, but it just wasn't working. Tyler had tons of fun throwing them onto the lower deck.

After the balloons, the boys took their first bath together. It was really funny. Tyler kept trying to poor the water over Malakai's head. Thankfully he didn't succeed! This is the picture after they got done and were in their pj's.After having to sit still for pictures, both of the boys were pretty crabby. Tyler wanted to feed Malakai, but didn't want to do it on anyone else's lap beside Jennifers. So, she had to hold both of them and feed Malakai. It was really cute.
Then, I got woken up at 2:30 AM on Monday to Malakai barely being able to breathe. The poor boy had such a stuffy nose. Naturally, babies are nose breathers, so it was really hard for him to adjust. I had to use the sucker thing (I don't know what it is really called) to suck the snot out of his nose. Then he was able to fall back asleep. He is doing so much better now. His nose is a little stuffy, but nothing like it was.
Have a great day and God Bless!

Froggy

Just thought I would post a couple pictures from this weekend. The first one is of Malakai and his favorite towel. He just looks so silly!
The second one is of Grandma Jodi holding both of the grandbabies. We had to make the picture fast because Malakai has started a new thing of not liking people. If he knows that I am there, he seems to have a hard time letting other people hold him. I guess it is just one of the side affects of me being home all the time. Hopefully, he'll get over that before I go back to work!

5 months

Today Malakai is officially 5 months old. He has started doing so many different things. He can sit up as long as something is behind him. Recently he found his toes. Now that he found those, they are pretty much what keeps him entertained! It is hilarious.

He also loves to put things in his mouth. This just happens to be his applesauce.
