Almost there!

Well, my doctors appointment went well yesterday. My weight has stayed the same for the past three weeks. The doctor didn't seem to be very concerned with it. I am, however, only dilated to a 1. Which I realize that it could change at any moment, but I was hoping to hear like 3 or 4. The doctor did say that if I didn't have the baby by next Monday, then we would make a plan to induce labor. Speaking of which, I really wouldn't do anything to make the baby come earlier than intended. I was just trying to add a little fun to the blog and hear about the crazy things that people think will help their baby come sooner.
Anyway, we have all our bags packed and are ready to go. So we are praying it will happen at any time. Eric is also planning on taking the laptop to the hospital, so he will be able to post pictures.

Home Remedies!!

Let's talk at home remedies...
Post some that you have heard about inducing labor. I'm really getting sick of being pregnant and I might try them. Don't post anything that might harm the baby or me.
Tomorrow I do have a doctors appointment, so hopefully he might give me some good news as well!!

Still waiting...

Well, we are still waiting. Not much has changed. Just thought I would update, that the baby is still in my tummy. Hopefully it comes soon, I'm really tired of being pregnant!! Anyway, I will update if anything changes.

Alright! My doctor said I was dilated a dimple. Just a dimple, not like 2 or 3, a dimple. My question was, is it a big dimple or small dimple? Unfortunately, I didn't get an answer. Wednesday is October 22. That is the day that 7 years ago, Eric and I started dating. It is also one of our bestest friends' birthday. On top of all that, it is the exact day between Eric's and my birthday. My thought is, wouldn't that just be such a great day for the baby to be born? I really think so. What do you think?

So other than that, not much has changed.

Milo

Poor little Milo. He got neutered on Friday. Thankfully he is healing well, but he has to wear a cone on his head. He really doesn't know how to walk well with it on. He can't go to the dog park either :( Well tomorrow we have another doctor's appointment. Hopefully, this time he'll say I'm dilated and it will only be a few more days. I'm really getting sick of being pregnant and my stomach is starting to really get in my way. I can't tell you how many times I have hit chairs and tables with it at work (don't worry, I don't hit them very hard). I just underestimate how big it really is. Anyway, I will update after my appointment.

Oh My!!

Alright, my doctor just got on my bad side! Today at my appointment, I am suppose to be looking at 2 weeks left. He measured me and said, "I would say you have a good 3 to 4 weeks left!" The light that is at the end of that tunnel....well it just got really dark. Although, we do all know the doctor can be wrong. Anyway, he also said that the swelling in my feet is normal.
My shower yesterday went nothing short of great. I am so thankful to have such amazing people in my life. We played such cute games and just had nothing short of a wonderful time. Thanks to everyone who came and everyone who helped with putting it together.

Room and Sunset

This is the baby's room, well most of it. On the wall not showing we have a small white dresser. The glider is the one that Jamie re-did for me.


Last night Eric and I went to the beach to watch the sunset. What a wonderful night!! Honestly, we were talking on the way there and neither of us had ever been to the beach at sunset before. Isn't that pretty sad for living in Holland our whole lives? Well if you continue scrolling down, you will run into a picture that I'm sure many have been waiting for...



....well here it is. My big ol' prego belly. Can you believe there is only like 2 Saturdays left? Well, the baby could come sooner and it is just crazy to think.

Monday I have another appointment. I pray that everything goes well. My feet have started to swell really bad at night, I hope that doesn't mean anything bad, but we will find out.

3 Weeks----ish

Well, roughly 3 weeks to go. I went to my doc appointment on Monday and I'm not dilated at all. I have another appointment on Monday and we'll see what happens then. Friday I had my first baby shower. Eric and I really have such great friends. Jamie, who was throwing me the shower, re-did a glidder rocker for me. It is so sticken cute and it works great with the baby's room. We got tons of diapers, which is a wonderful blessing. They just showered us with their love and support. Oh it was so much fun.

I have another shower this weekend. I am really excited for this one as well. It is with people from work, some customers, and some people from my mom's side of the family. Kelli, Kathy (my step-grandma), and Betty Z. are all working together to pull it off. Once again, what wonderful people. Oh I really can't wait. I will post on how it goes.

We still have a few things to do around the house before the baby gets here. But the room is ready and Eric has been working diligently to get things done. It is really weird to think that in a few weeks, my life is really going to change. No matter what I plan on or how I want things to go, I know that in the end, God is in control. I pray that I will have the strength and ability to have a natural birth, but I'm not against needing some help.

Well, I know I have promised prego belly pics. Tomorrow I will have Eric take some pics and then I will post them. You really won't believe how big I've gotten.

One Month!!

Oh My!!! Only one more month from today!!! Can you believe it? It really doesn't seem like it is possible. I will have to share what has been in me. I can't help but wonder what the baby is going to look like. Who's features will it have, will it be a girl or boy, will it be big or little, will it have all 10 fingers and 10 toes, will it have a full head of hair, will I be in labor forever or will the baby just come flying out....oh so many questions!! None of which can be answered until it happens. My biggest fear is that my water will break and I will be working or just out in a group of people. I can only imagine someone thinking I peed my pants. How embarrassing!!

Everyday at work is starting to get longer! I am getting more tired as things progress. I know it is to be expected and most people, being able to see that I'm pregnant, are understanding. Although, I still have some people that make me run. I really want to look at them and say "Can you not see I am carrying an extra 15 pounds? Can't you ask for everything in one trip?" But I don't. I just smile and keep my mouth shut!

Anyway, I know I need to post some belly pics, but Eric and I keep forgetting to take pics. You really wouldn't believe how big I have gotten, so I will do my best to post some soon!!
